Gather a group of friends or have the whole day to your self! Experience the excitement of Raku Firing in our hands-on workshop. Discover the unique process of this traditional Japanese inspired technique and create stunning, one-of-a-kind pottery pieces. The one day workshop lets students explore traditional raku glazes, One & Two Step Slip Resist Naked Raku, Horse Hair and Obvara firings. Students are given thorough instruction and demonstrations of techniques as well as loading, unloading and firing the kilns. Students choose to participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable. The students must sign a liability waiver to participate. Please call or email to discuss and book a date.
