Participants should be able to comfortably center and control 4lbs + of clay. Day 1 will cover throwing techniques. Day 2 will cover throwing & trimming techniques This workshop will help to advance your ability to throw larger vessels through a series of demos and hands-on instruction. By throwing a pot in two sections, you effectively double the height/width/size of your largest piece. Expert tips and guidance throughout the process will give you the foundational skills to practice your craft on a larger scale.
